I'm surprised some reviewers do not like this absolute masterpiece. I believe it is their right, but I would suggest that they had another careful look at it. How can we not admire all the actors, especially Burstyn? How can one not be detected by the mystery of the story? How can you not appreciate Laszlo Kovacs' photography, the use of colors in a sad and decadent Atlantic City? Trust me, my friends: try again! This King of Marvin Gardens, The Drama film took the second position (right after Altman's "Short Cuts ") in my crew of the best films of all time.

Like many others here, this ignores a criminal artistic triumph that deserves a greater reputation. I make the point that I think has gone through almost every critic and reviewer of this film: There is a time and only a moment in the King of Marvin Gardens, The Drama movie when there is music soundtrack. This happens as you travel outside the stadium after their mock "Miss America" historic. Why do you think this happens? My theory is the subject of high-point of the film. The highest level of achievement to have succeeded in making their dreams. Since then, a harsher reality intrudes on fantasy. If you follow this, then you begin to see how dramatically the film: King of Marvin Gardens, The is constructed as a whole. It is a masterpiece of form.

I read the comments and observations that suggest a deep and insightful film. I think I'm just a simpleton, but I just do not understand. It seems a quiet character study of DVD film King of Marvin Gardens, The type. Contrasts the two brothers, very well played by Jack Nicholson and Bruce Dern, as a hustler shade, and as a semi-realistic. That contrasts the two women, also played very well by Ellen Burstyn and Julia Ann Robinson, one of them near the end of his time exercising sexual power over men, the other, the stepdaughter, only come in time. It seems to compare the bleak winter Atlantic City at the age of the older woman, and dreams of the elder brother. What about all the black gangsters? No, I just do not understand.

This DVD movie Illegal Tender is entertaining, but the performance was horrible. I expected better work from John Singleton and actors such as Wanda De Jesus, Dania Ramirez and Rick Gonzalez. There were so many plot holes in the dramatic scenes that turned into slapstick comedy. There are many anachronisms (a cave scene in 1985 contained sweets and snacks with 2007 packages), and continuity errors (Wilson, the younger brother of her face bruised after falling off his bicycle, the hematoma was healed later that day. Wilson grew up speaking English, but managed to speak Spanish fluently, once arrived in Puerto Rico). I like the music in the film, though, and probably buy the soundtrack. I think I understand the vision that John Singleton may have had to make this film, but unfortunately used a formula that was successful in 90 years and does not work for Illegal Tender.

I liked the movie, is pretty good most of the time. It is a pleasant surprise since it can not find many movies about bands from Puerto Rico and the functions are done by Hispanic actors. Stereotypes at times, but have good performance, especially when Wilson Jr. has to shoot first. Is trembling and frightened as we all should be after a bad experience. The mother makes a good working hard trying to be protective at the same time. It'sa good movie, a little different from the rest of the movies that often see on the mafia.

What a little gem of a Illegal Tender movie and think that I almost lost because of negative comments from some viewers and critics. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. You have to take it for what it is and just enjoy the ride. This is an action-packed thriller, well acted and never boring. Although John Singleton was only a producer of this movie: Illegal Tender (which was directed by Franc Reyes). If you like Mr. Singleton's type of Illegal Tender Crime movie that will undoubtedly enjoy this. I highly recommend it to everyone, but especially for those who understand Spanish. Reggaeton star Tego Calderón, in his first DVD movie Illegal Tender was fantastic, as well as performances by Rick Gonzalez, Dania Ramirez and the wonderful Wanda De Jesus. It was a hard DivX film Illegal Tender with gripping action and suspense, with a great soundtrack of music. Ask yourself a favor, rent the DVD and see for yourself. You will not regret it.

A compelling, well acted, and visually extravagant period piece, with credible characters, interesting plot twists, and a real aspect of the past decades. ***

Three detectives in the corrupt and brutal LA police force of the 1950s the use of different methods to uncover a conspiracy behind the shotgun murders of patterns in an all-night dinner in this lush tribute to tough film: L.A. Confidential black crime films. Based on the multi-layered James Ellroy novel. This is an excellent management and excellent movie.Masterful is impressive acting.Most large Jeannine Oppewall, including nightclubs, where the characters are likely to run into Bob Mitchum and Lana Turner, or a prostitute who has had the plastic surgery to make her look like Lana Turner. All this is done by the beautiful photography Dante Spinotti.

This silence is becoming a modern classic. Which fits into the category of Film Noir perfectly. Action packed hard boiled detective story. This DivX Movie L.A. Confidential is very well done. It has been a while since I saw this movie, but I was more impressed with the way the period of material was used and how well the story was constructed. The entire cast seems to fit their roles well and, while none had the performance of his career, all did well with a solid script. Not enough modern movies, as well as a present. It will be a staple in the classic DVD movie L.A. Confidential channels in the coming years and is well worth seeing. I highly recommend this one to anyone, especially if you like black movies.

LA Confidential is a great movie.it is very well written and well directed.it is a strong history of corruption and scandal of the police in the 1950s. This film: L.A. Confidential has a first rate cast, including Russell Crowe, Kevin Spacey, Danny DeVito, Kim Basinger, James Cromwell and, among many others.all give first class performances, but as always stresses Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe and is brilliant, as always.The man is a chameleon, inhabiting each role plays.i not been given a bad performance writing is inspired, with great dialogue, well written and the situations and characters.the ending is explosive and leaves no loose ends.the L.A. Confidential Crime movie is well paced, with excellent editing and is also very stylish.it also has more depth than say, Cop Land, a similar but less effort.you can not go wrong with this movie. 10/10
