Once again, New York cop John McClane is in the wrong place at the wrong time - this time he's waiting for his wife's plane to arrive at Washington's Dulles Airport when he uncovers a plot to sabotage the airport's landing system. The criminals wish to free a drug baron being extradited to America for trial by holding the airport to ransom until they all safely escape on another plane. However, if they'd known that Holly McClane was on a flight home to the very airport they were hijacking, they would have picked another day.

I know that Die Hard 1 is considered the best of the Die Hard movies to almost all, but I must say that I like best Die Hard 2. I find this movie: Die Hard 2 in a performance of Bruce Willis as the cool smart New York City Police John McClane. The performance of Dennis Franz as Capt. Carmen Lawrence is very good too. I also think a better argument than the first, and the action scenes are great. This time the action takes place in an airport in Washingtong DC, where John McClane is waiting to pick up his wife who is flying from Los Angeles to join his family for Christmas at his father's house, but the problems are occurred at the airport and will put John McClane to evaluate some of his wife in May to land aircraft safely. I think this DVD film Die Hard 2 does not deserve to be the only one with fewer stars in the Die Hard series, this is a DivX film Die Hard 2 much better than Die Hard 3 and 4.

I understand action films take creative liberties on the plausibility of some scenarios, but this Die Hard 2 film just pushes the envelope too far. Too often I find myself literally yelling at the screen, hoping that perhaps one of the characters at some point used a pinch of common sense. Many others in the community IMDb gave examples of what I am talking about here - but let me add another, McLean and the flight engineer to decide which would be a good idea to go to search near a small community hideout for terrorists. When found, what happens? Of course, McLean NOT call the army ... is all on its own - and for what? To enter into a fight with a sentry killing him and ending with an icicle goddamed. Let? Even John McLean to wait for the cavalry is in this situation. I do not care how good the action and effects are ... if the story that controls common sense at the door, it is difficult to enjoy any movie. I think Michael Bay has proven that point over and over again, and Die Hard 2 is just an entry in the sense of successful action genre. Do not waste your time with it, you could go directly to the third installment of this series and be happy to forget.
