Prey For Rock & Roll is the story of Jacki and her all-girl rock and roll band, Clam Dandy, who are trying to make it in the LA club scene of the late 1980's. After ten years of being ignored by record producers, Jacki and the band find hope in one producer who promises to see them play and consider them for a contract. Jacki resolves to play this one last gig and then throw in the towel if she does not find success. Personal tragedies, however, threaten to rip the band apart, rocking the foundation of friendship and trust the women have built together. Ultimately, the band must find its strength in the music that is their passion and the thread that holds them together, inspiring them to prevail.

I think Gina Gershon did a wonderful job of acting in this movie. The content was very well done. I think it's a good DVD film Prey for Rock & Roll for all ages and would recommend it to anyone. It is a lot of issues we face today and have clashed in the past. The players were very good at it and I especially liked the message you left. The music was very well done and the writing was good. The cast was very good and shows that we can all be friends and do what you enjoy the most.Wheather you are black or white is for everyone from all walks of life and handles everything in life. I left with a positive attitude and felt that the public too.

I just finished a watcing Prey for Rock and Roll and just finished reading the comments. I was here in Los Angeles when cheri lovedog (the writer) is doing its thing. and she was doing very well. took a piece of his life and did something that all of America can see. because if all of America has not seen the real deal rather than how to handle it. living in Los Angeles at the time was very intense and the Prey for Rock & Roll movie captures the desperation. about the saddest thing Hollywood has always been and will always be people who do not know when to quit. do not know when to stop the drug, do not know when to stop your dreams. and I would say a Prey for Rock & Roll movie is put on the spot. Gina Gershon shows that it is just a glamor girl. she knows how to get dirty. Drea de Mateo shines. seemed almost real .. there is something to be said. all the girls did a good job. but this is not just a DVD film Prey for Rock & Roll about what the rock and roll. it was a DVD film Prey for Rock & Roll about coming to terms with yourself. and that can sometimes be the hardest thing. cheri really think this is the biggest fight in Hollywood. and this is the fight that most people lose. is also ideal for francois see on the screen. brought some interesting memories. and Texas teri still rock. here is a woman who is living that dream. over forty and still going strong.

Prey for Rock and Roll is a great film: Prey for Rock & Roll for anyone who likes rock music, especially women who have grown up admiring people like Joan Jett, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Lita Ford, Chrissie Hynde, or any woman in the industry the predominantly male music that have taken control of their music rather than be allowed to cast in the industry of the "male fantasy of a female musician. (Britney Spears, are you listening?) But it is not a film: Prey for Rock & Roll only for women - I saw PFRR with a kid, and he loved it. We are eager to get out of the soundtrack - great music. Just to balance my comments, my criticism is that a very small or twice (and only once or twice) a line that sounded a little canned or flat, but I tend towards overanalyzing in this regard. (I will not say that the lines to avoid giving away the film.) But in general the dialogue was very, very real, with too much humor thrown in. The interactions between the characters were great to build them until after 2 de-dimensions. (For example, Jackie's relationship with his mother Jackie was the most interesting, Tracy's relationship with her boyfriend made her more interesting - a role that might otherwise have been easily a caricature rather than a character. Ivan Martin was great in the paper.) I would recommend this Prey for Rock & Roll Drama to anyone ready for a Prey for Rock & Roll movie that balances the heavy (hard aspects of life) with light (to find the humor in life and following your dreams).
