This is a very pleasant surprise indeed.In what should be its nauseating least, most watchable performance to date, the almost-master thespian Walker commandeers the lead with nerve and a peculiar humour.The supporting cast are excellent too, and are well served for a time, well-written script that launches in lashings of suspense, as well as lots of black humor and pathos hand that keeps the boat nicely.It flowing 's a suspense thriller in the sense of the subject in the same way Duel and, like the movie, has moments that are truly frightening and make the Joy Ride film work perfectly .**** |
| Written by JJ Abrams and directed by John Dahl of "Rounders" fame, "Joy Ride" is a fun, cheerfully dumb road and some unpretentious thriller that plays like a demented cross between "Duel" and "The Hitcher" with some dumb college children thrown in for good measure. This is a deliberate and a B-movie that is very self-conscious, but fortunately not self-referential. Paul Walker and Steve Zahn play the two leads in the movie, the brothers who anger a truck driver (voiced by Ted Levine), who proceeded to prosecute and make your life a living hell. Half of the Joy Ride film Leelee Sobieski appears after a brief scene at the beginning of the Joy Ride Horror film and looks pretty and gets into dangerous situations. Yes, it sounds pretty horrible, but it's so serious and entertaining works in some way. Ted Levine is really big as this truck driver who is called Rusty Nail. It is not really see it at any time of the film, but his voice acting is excellent. What's refreshing about "Joy Ride" apart from that usually are only a decent and well-directed-shot Joy Ride film that is a lot of fun, it's completely Gore-less. There is one scene toward the end of the Joy Ride film that is mildly violent, but it is not something we are not in a tame "X-Files" episode. This is a fun, self-conscious, and totally unpretentious road thriller that can not compete with the top entries in this sub-genre, but it is much better than most films like it. 7 / 10 |
| "Joyride" is a very good film.it combines elements of suspense, action and humor skillfully.the story involves Fuller (Steve Zahn) and Lewis (Paul Walker) Thomas, two brothers on a road trip, which play a cruel joke on a trucker.so, the truck driver decides to get revenge on them and terrorize the brothers have collected them.meanwhile Venna (Leelee Sobieski), who has no idea what is being done to itself in for.However soon discovers that she also becomes terrified by the truck driver and will play an important role in their revenge.basically, what follows is action, suspense, humor and some fear some of moments.this movie: Joy Ride is a real nail biter.the acting is convincing and film: Joy Ride is well paced.i recommend that 9 / 10 |
| I am giving this Joy Ride film a 7 Hehe, yes it is. I am usually very critical about horror movies, but a second viewing of Joy ride changed my mind from my initial view. Let's get this first: the characters are pretty silly. Instead of going to the police, who must have on several occasions, rely on the villain and do exactly what the villain. After the average rate in the hotel room next to them are from "Rusty Nail" and the two main characters to see what we Rusty Nail did to the man ... the main characters decide to shout at the Rusty Nail on the radio saying you need a psychiatrist. Suddenly, it was a shock that Rusty Nail is behind them in a truck and began pursuit. However, I was still on the edge of my seat throughout the movie, though I remembered a little of what happened from the time that I saw when he arrived for the first time in 2001. I thought it was realistic in the sense that two guys make a joke and that Prank the wrong person. You never know who might be out there and if the wrong person prank ... I also liked the twist at the end and I will not spoil, but I think there's a lot of a good suspense despite the fact that the characters were a bit silly in this movie. I'd like to rent, but keep in mind that it was targeting a younger audience. |
| Fuller and Lewis Thomas are brothers. Lewis Fuller is out of jail and have not seen each other for a long time. So Lewis has a car with a CB radio in that they decide to have some fun and get out of a cruel joke on "Rusty Nail." Now Rusty admission that it was a joke, Rusty proves to be mad thinking of the brothers. This is a great movie. It's thrilling and suspenseful and Rusty Nail could be like Jason Vorhees, big, strong, tough, and scary, but it was a thriller. The best time of the DVD movie Joy Ride is in the final when I was on the edge of my seat. There are even some scenes of tension. This Joy Ride Horror movie has a satisfactory end, still leaving some questions unanswered. Steve Zahn's performance was great, it adds a great comedy in this movie. Paul Walker and Leelee Sobieski were good. This DivX Movie Joy Ride might be cliché in some scenes but it's a realistic film. In most cases, this is a very enjoyable thriller and has scenes of tension. If you want a thriller that does not fool with their intelligence, go right ahead and see this movie. |
| When I went to see the joy ride in it for me Leelee Sobieski, because I had seen one of my favorite movies recently.Then never got more than they expecting.My expectations were modest, but then I was really surprised how that was surprisingly good for be.This Joy Ride Horror movie is great.The actors and actresses who play their parts swimmingly and I think it is a joy ride of the best movies ever was just one thing that bothered me and that was that the corn maze type of scenario was unnecessary and was not really as intense as I thought that in turn be.This Joy Ride Horror film is so perfectly, and done with taste and has a great history of the plot this kind of break some of the newspaper story lines . |
