| I have seen this expecting nothing, but man I was lucky enough to stumble into this hell of a movie. Yes there is a simplicity to the script and I felt as if I could have been better. The story might have also been extended to give a shot to the whole concept. But no matter, because the fight scenes just blew me away. I've seen tons of martial arts films that focused on the effects of wire, but it just really impressed me. I suppose that the action just seemed more natural in the Dragon Tiger Gate movie or not in their cables. The players did a great job with the fight sequences. Think Ong bak and kung fu hustle mixed. The actors fit their roles and the production of amazing stunts, fights, action, etc.. Donnie Yen is always impressive, and here he is exceptional. Kudos to the choreography too. Actually one of the most impressive of its kind for me, personally, up there with fear, fist of legend, ong bak, shinobi (i love this film), etc. .. I recommend this to action and martial arts enthusiasts. Lose .. 10/10 just because I love the theme of this and how it was done. |
| Since I was a child I have always been fascinated with martial arts films and this is one of the best martial arts films to be seen. If you enjoyed Kung Fu Hustle then you have an absolute ball with this film. You will be treated to some of the most exciting fight scenes that can be seen, and the best work rope in any martial arts movie: Dragon Tiger Gate at present. The story is pretty good, not great but to be honest was not the main goal. This movie: Dragon Tiger Gate also reminded me of another called "A man called Hero," which focused on the hero who fights with great ability to fight against evil and guilt, which is the main story in the course of this movie. If you are in great martial arts movies do not miss this opportunity will not be disappointed. |
| Oh-ho! This may be the best Kung-Fu Dragon Tiger Gate film I've seen. Watched the scenes of actual combat. But I can say that the Dragon Tiger Gate Drama has a fine fabric, which is not very good (I can say). The only good thing is the fight. Do not get me wrong, I like the film, is that I felt that the DVD movie Dragon Tiger Gate might need some improvement in the plot. This is Tiger Wong, Dragon Wong and Turbo who believe in justice. Take possession of a gold plate that has one of the largest criminal organization in Asia, the heroes are now the target. They will have to fight against evil. Scenes of fighting, I say it can be improved, since only take a few minutes only. And fighting scenes would be more interesting. But overall, I still spend level. |
